Since being admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002, Ms. Farrell has practiced exclusively in the area of Workers' Compensation Defense and Employment Law. Ms. Farrell is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating. She was also appointed the Chair of the Workers Compensation Department for the Firm in 2010.
Ms. Farrell represents numerous insurance carriers and third party administrators including AIG/Chartis, The Alabama Trucking Association Workers’ Compensation Fund, Avizent, Commercial Risk Management, FCCI, FFVA, Gallagher Bassett, Johns Eastern, NARS, Sedgwick, Summit Claims Center and Zenith.
She also proudly represents various employers such as AAA Cooper Transportation, A. J. Johns, Inc., Acousti Engineering Company, Bridgestone Retail Operations, LLC, Brooks Home Care Advantage, Clay County School Board, Customized Distribution Inc., Fleet Landing, Gateway Community Services, Nextran Corporation, Pace Center for Girls, Petro Services Inc., Prestige Concrete Products, Pritchett Trucking, Inc., and Renaissance Behavioral Group.
Ms. Farrell also represents businesses who are audited by the State for workers' compensation coverage compliance and regarding stop-work orders. She also assists her clients with premium disputes and employment matters. Ms. Farrell is also active in representing uninsured employers with regard to workers' compensation claims.
Ms. Farrell was honored to be selected by Florida Super Lawyers in the “Rising Star” category in 2011. As such, she was also listed in the Wall Street Journal as one of “Florida’s Top Young Attorneys.” She was also featured in the December 2011 issue of 904 Magazine as a "Legal Eagle" and recognized as a top attorney in the workers' compensation practice area. Ms. Farrell also has an “excellent” rating by Avvo.com and has been named as a “Most Honored Professional.” She was also selected two years in a row as one of Florida's "Legal Elite" by Florida Trend Magazine in the "Up and Coming" category (2007-2008). Ms. Farrell was also proud to be named "Woman Lawyer of the Year" by the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association in 2008.
Ms. Farrell is married and has two children. She is a native of Jacksonville and enjoys a good reputation in the community.
Before entering law school, Ms. Farrell worked as a business consultant for a national management company.

Ms. Farrell is an active instructor and lectures on various issues involving workers' compensation. She has lectured on behalf of the Workers' Compensation Section of The Jacksonville Bar Association, Lorman Education Services, and AAA Construction School. She is also a Certified Instructor of Insurance Education, State of Florida and often presents seminars to clients.
