Boyd & Jenerette Welcomes New Miami Partner

Boyd & Jenerette, welcomes Jacob J. Frohman as a partner in our Miami office with an expertise in Corporate Law.

"We are tremendously excited to have Jacob join our growing Miamipractice,” said Glen McClary, Boyd & Jenerette’s Managing Equity Partner. “His extensive experience in corporate transactions and securities will no doubt make him a vital asset to the Firm.”

Frohman’s areas of expertise include corporate and transactional matters in private and public securities offerings, licensing arrangements and technology transfers as well as domestic and international cross-border corporate transactions consisting of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financial transactions.

Mr. Frohman graduated from Boston University School of Law, where he was an Editor of the BU Law Review and graduated among the top 10% of his class.  Mr. Frohman began his legal career as a Corporate Associate in the New York office of the international law firm Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP, where he had opportunity to practice for a period of time in Paul Weiss’ Tokyo office.  More recently, Mr. Frohman was a Corporate Partner in the New York office of the international law firm Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.

 Boyd & Jenerette, welcomes Carlos M. Rodriguez Of Counsel in our Miami office. Mr. Rodriguez will provide legal and business counseling for the firm, specializing in real estate, foreign title insurance, cross border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and estate planning.

“Carlos has extensive experience representing both domestic and foreign clients in Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe, with respect to their interests in the United States,” said the Firm’s Managing Equity Partner, Glen McClary. "This knowledge and experience will make him a vital asset to our Firm."

Mr. Rodriguez is also a Certified Family Business Specialist and has provided specifically tailored business and planning services to family-owned businesses regarding succession planning and other family-business specific matters.  He also has extensive business experience including serving in executive capacities of privately held companies and prior management experience at two Fortune 500 companies. 

Mr. Rodriguez received his law degree from the University of Florida and holds a B.S. from Florida State University. Currently, he is a member of the Florida Bar, the Cuban-American Bar Association, Latin Builders Association and Easter Seals of South Florida.
