Boyd & Jenerette Partner and Workers' Compensation Practice Group Leader Linda Farrell is presenting at the WCCP 22nd Annual Claims Management & Leadership Conference June 9th-June 12th, 2013.
Ms. Farrell will be presenting the workshop "Fifty Shades of Permanent Total Disability" on Monday June 10th at 12:30. The workshop will provide strategies for defending a claim for PTD, mistakes your team should always avoid and the ends and outs of utilizing a 501 (c) (3) non-profit placement program.

Boyd & Jenerette Shareholder Kristen Van der Linde presents at the 17th Annual Florida Liability Claims Conference sponsored by the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.

Nicolle Piquet Volunteers at Sixth Annual Citizenship Day Event
Boyd & Jenerette associate Nicolle Piquet volunteered at the sixth annual Citizenship Day event held April 13, 2013 at Florida Coastal School of Law.
Piquet, among other attorneys and law students volunteered her time and knowledge to counsel applicants on properly filling out paperwork, what to expect during the naturalization process and possible issues that might arise on their journey in seeking citizenship.
Ms. Piquet handles a wide array of Immigration matters including citizenship, family based immigration, asylum applications and deportation and removal defense. Having been through the immigration process herself, Ms. Piquet is able to understand and appreciate the importance of competent legal counsel and the stresses which accompany any immigration petition.

Linda Farrell Appointed to Serve on Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Board
Boyd & Jenerette Partner Linda Wagner Farrell has been appointed by The Florida Bar President-Elect, Eugene Pettis to serve on the Florida Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Rules Advisory Committee for a 3 year term beginning July 2013.
Ms. Farrell has practiced exclusively in the area of Workers' Compensation Defense and Employment Law. Ms. Farrell is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating. She was also appointed the Workers' Compensation Practice Group Leader for the Firm in 2010.
As part of the Workers' Compensation Rules Advisory Committee Ms. Farrell will aid in advising the Division of Administrative Hearings and the Office of Judges of Compensation Claims by recommending, evaluating, and commenting on proposed amendments to the Rules of Procedure for Workers’ Compensation Adjudications
