Elizabeth Howard to Speak at ABA Forum on the Construction Industry
Boyd & Jenerette Partner Elizabeth Howard will speak at the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry's 2013 spring meeting. Ms. Howard will speak on 'Ethical and Effective Ways to Identify and Network at Events and Conferences'.
Ms. Howard along with Amy Phillips of Arcadis U.S. Inc., will discuss the ABA rules that limit the marketing abilities of lawyers and how to successfully avoid violating them.
Ms. Howard serves as Boyd & Jenerette's Construction Law Practice Group leader and is Board Certified in Construction Law.

Boyd & Jenerette Welcomes New Associate
Boyd & Jenerette welcomes Michael J. Childers to our Jacksonville office and Construction Law Group.
Michael J. Childers joins Boyd & Jenerette as an associate from the law firm of Schutt Schmidt & Noey where he worked as a litigation associate. Mr. Childers practice involves complex civil litigation matters, with a primary focus in construction law.
He represents general contractors, subcontractors, architects, developers, and suppliers in cases involving construction defect, breach of contract, delay, liens/bonds, surety issues, personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage claims. Mr. Childers also has experience in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, subrogation suits, premises liability, and various insurance coverage issues.
Mr. Childers graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a B.A. and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.
